Filmmaker Cintia Cabib will be presenting a work-in-progress screening of “A Community of Gardeners” at the Arlington Central Library Auditorium on Saturday, April 17, at 2 p.m. The screening will be followed by a Q & A with Cintia Cabib. The event is free and open to the public. The Arlington Central Library is located at 1015 North Quincy St. in Arlington, Virginia, three blocks from the Ballston Metro station on the Orange line.

A work-in-progress screening of “A Community of Gardeners” will be held on Saturday, February 20, as part of Rooting DC, a free urban gardening conference held at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. The documentary will be shown at 3:15 p.m. in the auditorium. The Historical Society is located at 801 K St., NW, near the Mt. Vernon Sq./Convention Center and Gallery Place Metro stops. To pre-register for the full-day event, please call (202) 638-1649 during business hours or register online. If you are coming only to see the film, you do not need to pre-register. On February 4, filmmaker Cintia Cabib presented her work-in-progress film at Community Gardens Networking Day held at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland. At this special event sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Parks, community gardeners and organizations from Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia shared their insights, experiences and resources.
